The Story behind Our Logo

Our journey started by looking for someone who could design our logo, and one day we came across the beautiful artwork of Anna Zembowska-Kusal. We were very impressed with her work and hopeful that Anna would be the one to bring  a "WinTales  Chinese Crested Kennel" logo to life.  After we made contact and explained our vision, Anna agreed, and so we began. We wanted our  logo to be a reflection of how we see the breed. We were looking for Elegance, Strength, and Alertness. We also wanted the Crested in our logo to have movement. Anna produced an image that we fell in love with as soon as she gave us the first draft. However, we felt a little something was missing that would make it unique to us.   Around this time we were caring for our first litter of puppies and one day Ernest took a picture of the puppies playing around my rubber boots. Later, when we were going over the pictures, we knew what was missing in the logo; Puppies! So we sent the "rubber boots" picture to Anna and asked her to incorporate our puppies into the design. Her original Crested became the focal point of the scene, elegant, strong, and alert as a good mother should be.  Knowing that the puppies in the logo are our own, made the logo even more special to us. So as you can see, the puppies are from the picture we took on a nice fall day of our first litter, "Amber" on the right, "Betty' on the left, me in my rubber boots, and if you look closer you will be able to see "Brass" hiding behind my rubber boots.  Now Look carefully at the logo again, and you will see him looking right at you. We are so grateful to Anna, who captured and drew all the thoughtfulness and emotions that we wanted our logo to portray...for us it's more than just a logo, it's a piece of Art. Thanks again Anna for your amazing artwork we will cherish it forever ! :)
